A Sony anunciou que vai passar a oferecer cerca de 100 filmes através do Sony Pictures Core, um benefício que também estará disponível para os assinantes das versões Extra e Deluxe do PlayStation Plus no Brasil. De acordo com Stern, haverá opções de compra ou aluguel para até 2 mil filmes diretamente do seu console, incluindo Homem-Aranha: Através do Aranhaverso, Homem-Aranha: Sem Volta Para Casa, Uncharted: Fora do Mapa, O Protetor, Trem-Bala, Ghostbusters: Mais Além, entre outros.
Caso seja assinante da PlayStation Plus Extra ou Deluxe, poderá comprar filmes selecionados durante uma janela de acesso antecipado exclusiva.
O primeiro filme dentro desse acesso antecipado será Gran Turismo: de Jogador a Corredor, por enquanto em mercados selecionados, como Reino Unido, França, Alemanha e Japão.
Além disso, esses assinantes terão acesso a um catálogo livre de anúncios e atualizado periodicamente, com curadoria de até 100 filmes sob demanda.
O aplicativo Sony Pictures Core está disponível a partir de hoje em 23 mercados, podendo encontrá-lo na seção Mídia no PlayStation 5 e na PS Store do PlayStation 4.
