O título é uma referência ao jogo homônimo lançado em 2007 para Nintendo Wii.
Desenvolvido pela equipe da EAD Tokyo, é considerado revolucionário para a franquia ao introduzir a exploração de planetas e galáxias inteiras, com gravidade dinâmica e cenários esféricos.
